As a licensed social worker in a civil servant workplace, I definitely deal with a high level of stress. What happens to the body when stress kicks in? Oh boy, here comes the headache or unexplained aches in parts of your body that you didn't know could ache! How do you manage daily negative stress and all the unwanted symptoms that come with it? You might instinctively reach for conventional pain relief, or if you're more attuned to natural remedies, perhaps a pain-relieving essential oil. Alternatively, you might explore stress-busting strategies like yoga or engage in an invigorating workout. Today, I'm eager to introduce or re-introduce you to another remarkable natural approach that complements using essential oils. So, what's this technique called? Glad you asked, you’ve likely heard it before, it's simply Mindfulness. You see, I had the pleasure of taking this course in 2022, and it has been life-changing! How, you ask? As my Mindfulness instructor, Ali Turfe, so eloquently puts it: "Mindfulness is a deep, innate sense that lies within us all. Achieving a well-balanced life means being aware of all aspects of ourselves: mind, body, heart, and soul.
