Reader Beloved, Did you know that essential oils can be as potent as conventional medicine? It is true, you can experience the benefits of essential oils with just one drop! Those precious drops are highly concentrated, so more is not better. In fact, you should always err on the side of caution. For example, it is recommended that you perform patch tests before using it on your skin. Patch test? Yes, that's where you would take one drop of the essential oil you are planning to use adding it to a teaspoon of carrier oil, such as jojoba or grapeseed oil. You would add this mixture to an inconspicuous area on your body such as the inside of your elbow. If irritation occurs, discontinue use!
